Cowaramup Country - Living Streams
Running across both sides of the project, the ‘living
streams’ concept provides a natural water feature
to the entire community and, through careful revegetation,
will further attract wildlife to the area and provide
the community special sheltered recreation space to
enjoy.
The revegetation process is being carefully monitored
by the local Cowaramup Primary School. The school has
incorporated various aspects of the living streams environment
into its curriculum and has already provided a sense
of ownership of the environment to the youth of Cowaramup.
Now that Cowaramup Country is open, the school kids are planning to get back on site to monitor water quality and watch the park grow.
